The composition of the wellhead
Section A: Casing Head
The casing head is installed at the lower end of the wellhead equipment. It is composed of body, casing
hanger and sealing assembly, which is used to support and fix the casing in well and install BOP
assembly and other parts for wellhead equipment during drilling.
Section B: Tubing Head
The tubing head is installed above the casing head and includes tubing head spool, tubing hanger and
sealing assembly. Tubing Head Spool are equipped with 45 degree main bearing stage shoulder. Their
side outlets can be threaded type, flange connection or be flexibly designed in accordance with
customers' requirements
Section C: X-mas Tree
The X-mas Tree is installed above the tubing head and consists of gate valves, choke valves, tee/ cross,
flanges, Christmas tree caps, etc. Its function is to control and regulate the production of oil wells, guide the
oil or gas from the wellhead into the pipeline, and realize the installation and removal of downhole
equipment.

Casing Head
Casing head is a part of wellhead equipment connected to casing top on the surface casing, which is used to support
and fix the casing in well and install BOP assembly and other parts for wellhead equipment during drilling.
Bottom connection type
• PE seal, for the secondary sealing of casing
• Secondary sealing is available for customized design.
Tubing Head
The tubing head is a component that connects the uppermost casing head and the oil (gas) tree to suspend the
tubing and seal the annular space between the tubing and the casing.
